Open Question: Computer Serial Numbers?
I have a prohect on computers and i want to know what certain things are like the serial number. I know where it is but i dont know what it is. What exactly are they used for. Are they used as a mode of tracking the computer (like gps??, if one goes on the internet is it tracked through the serial number), or just a number to specify what the computer is, its components, and its purchaser?
